"The OP-1 has long been a device of creative inspiration, and now those sounds can be accessed directly on the Circuit Tracks, in a set of 128 patches emulating 8 of the OP-1’s iconic engines:

Cluster, Digital, DNA, Dr Wave, DSynth, String, FM, Phase & Pulse

The goal while creating OPERATION_1 was to get maximum musical expressiveness for the patches, with the original sounds as the starting point. Each Circuit sound was crafted to be as close to the OP-1 patch as musically possible. "data.mod is a modulator device that can be mapped to parameters in Ableton Live in order to modulate them. It centers around a grid of math operators. Each modulated parameter (up to 8) has its own modulation source/value and each frame that value changes based on its selected math operator. By changing the operators in a chain of events and the source of their right-hand operand, you can create complex to harmonic oscillations that can be evolving over time or repeating rhythms. Using old synthesis techniques such as La Synthnesis, Freqency modulation, and slight wavetable manipulation, it is possible to create the slight nuances that make things resonate in an authentic way and play naturally on a keyboard or circuit Keys does this in order to bring you traditional sounding acoustic instruments.

"Built on the idea of instability, this MPE compatible sequencer creates constantly changing patterns of notes with modulated note parameters. Each time the sequence reaches the end, the sequence length itself grows or shrinks, within predefined limitations, creating unpredictable rhythmic patterns. The changes in length can also be mapped to velocity level, note length, and MPE slide and pressure parameter values.

The device consists of 8 note sequencers with individual controls for grow mode, step size, minimum and maximum sequence length, growth amount, hold, and probability. It also includes the option to freeze specific sequences to prevent changes. Global controls allow us to set swing amount to loosen up midi timing and note pitches can be set using a scale selection.

"NEURALOOT is a suite of Max for Live devices built around the neural oscillator, which is a wavetable oscillator whose shape is generated by a neural network (the decoder section of an autoencoder, if you want to get more technical).

This in house neural network was trained on thousands of waveforms, and it learnt how to encode in the most exact way any shape in just eight parameters, that make up the latent space of the network. Each combination of these parameters is able to reconstruct a waveform, and changing gradually one or more components of the latent space lets you seamlessly morph a shape into another one.

These go from green to red.
They are different speed kick drum build ups.
so the fist is a crash and kick. for a drop.
the second one is a 1/4 kick drum.
the next is a faster one, 1/8 twice the speed
and finally the last one is 16ths.
This gives you a way of switching between sesions with a little transition when playing live. It will also stay in sync with your swing and tempo from the project you are switching from. These are Called Performance Pads. and are exclusive to this pack!

All macros follow the parameters assigned on Circuit Tracks.

Macro 1: Fatness and wideness, mix of oscillator detuning, unison and chorus for a fattened sound with more stereo amplitude.
Macro 2: modulations indirectly affecting the oscillators, vibrato in some cases, filter frequency modulation via LFO, FM amount.
Macro 3: amp envelope release/amp envelope decay.
Macro 4: filter envelope depth (first half for negative modulation, and second half for positive).
Macro 5: filter frequency.
Macro 6: resonance.
Macro 7: portamento.
Macro 8: diode distortion.
